Retail Manager

Managers will be effective and innovative for all areas of their shops and will be responsible for managing all activity in a manner which protects the reputation of the organisation and is in accordance with the Shops Operating Manual, the Health and Safety manual and FearFree policies and procedures.

FearFree Managers are responsible for ensuring positive contribution from their shop in alignment with the delivery of the Retail Strategy. Working with their Assistant Manager, they will develop the business plan for their shop and deliver excellent customer service to guarantee optimum profitability, whilst raising the profile of FearFree.

The Manager will always act as an ambassador for FearFree, promoting understanding of, engagement with and enthusiasm for the work of FearFree to all its audiences including any potential tenants viewing the shop.

Key Relationships:

General Public – Managers will be the public face of the organisation and as such will need to be able to influence, both directly and indirectly, a variety of audiences in a variety of ways.

Other Shop/Store Managers – working closely together to ensure consistency and to share good practice in order build a strong and supportive team within a dispersed setting.

Fundraising Teams – will need to build effective working relationships to maximise opportunities for cross-working.

Retail Operations Managers – ensuring that key, accurate and up to date information is provided on a regular basis.
