If someone is putting pressure on you, you can say no and you don’t need to explain why.

If you’ve shared an image or video of yourself, you can ask the person you sent it to, to delete it. If they refuse, it’s important to tell an adult. It might feel a bit embarrassing at first but they will be able to help you and take back control of the situation.

If it has been shared on the internet you can remove it by:

• Reporting it to the Police

If someone has sent you sexual content or put it in the group chat, tell an adult you and they can help you to report it.

If someone you don’t know sends you a sexual image or message they are committing a crime called Cyberflashing.

You can tell an adult you trust or the police. Do not respond to the message and block the number.

If you are in a public space, turn your Bluetooth off.

• Don’t accept messages and friend requests from people that you don’t know
• Don’t use public Wifi
• If someone you don’t know sends you an email or message, delete it and don’t click on any links or attachments
• Turn air drop off in public places
• Don’t send, share or store any sexual content
• Use strong passwords and change them regularly
• Know you have the right to say no to anything you don’t feel comfortable
