Gloucestershire Volunteer Befriender

Can you support people who are using our stalking services and are in the process of finalising their recovery?

Our Befriending support role  is an amazing opportunity to learn more about our services.Ideally this role would suit someone who is able to assist one or two hours per week.  

 Training and support

FearFree will provide induction training and appropriate training to the role. This role offers the opportunity to
develop skills and make an incredible difference to the people we support. The volunteer will be fully supported during their volunteering.

Person Specification

• Passionate about supporting the work of our organisation
  • Empathetic and a good listener
  • An eye for detail, ability to use email to provide case summary notes
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
