Free the Night Devizes 2027
Friday 12 March 2027 | 6:00pm
Take a stand. Take a walk. Take back the night.
Join us for Free the Night – Devizes, a powerful community event bringing people together to raise awareness of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking, whilst promoting a future where everyone can feel safe and free from fear.
Whether you’re attending with friends, family, colleagues or as part of a local organisation, Free the Night is an opportunity to walk together, show your support for survivors and help create lasting change within our communities.
Starting at 6:00pm, participants will follow a family-friendly route through Devizes before coming together for an evening of community, reflection and hope.
Why take part?
Every year, thousands of adults and children experience domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking. Many suffer in silence. Many feel unsafe to walk on our streets.
- Show solidarity with survivors.
- Help raise awareness of abuse and its impact.
- Support FearFree’s work across Wiltshire and the South West.
- Join a positive movement for safer communities.
- Be part of one of Wiltshire’s most inspiring community events.
Who can take part?
Everyone is welcome.
Whether you’re an individual, family, community group, school, sports club or business, we’d love you to join us.
The event is suitable for all ages and abilities, and we particularly encourage local businesses and organisations to bring teams along and show their support.
Fundraising
Putting on such a high profile event costs FearFree several thousand pounds. We think that it’s worth it, if only to raise awareness of our work with people across Devizes and the wider Wiltshire area.
Whilst registration is free for this event, we encourage participants to make a donation or raise sponsorship if they are able to do so.
Every pound raised helps FearFree provide specialist support to adults and children affected by domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking.
