This March, colleagues at FearFree are taking on the Bath Half Marathon to raise funds and awareness for adults and children experiencing domestic abuse and sexual violence across Wiltshire and the South West.
We now have 8 spaces left in our team, and we’d love for you to join us!
This iconic, much loved event is happening Sunday 17th March and participants follows a flat route through the beautiful city of Bath. With an incredible crowd and atmosphere, the route lends itself to runners of all abilities, with the option to jog or walk.
If you’re looking for a New Year Challenge, join our staff team and help us make a difference.
You’ll be joining colleagues like Dione, our Peer Support and Volunteer Coordinator at FearFree, who said:
‘When I saw that FearFree were partaking in the Bath Half Marathon, I just knew that I had to take part and do my bit. FearFree has such a strong message, that I am lucky to be directly involved in as an employee, but the message also rings true to me; that the cycle of abuse needs to be broken, and that every person should live fear free.
The Bath Half Marathon is something I never thought I would do, but to directly help fundraise for those who would benefit from FearFree’s help is something that I am so excited to do, whilst also pushing myself out of my comfort zone in the meantime.’

“Whatever your running experience or ability, the Bath Half Marathon is a wonderous event open to all. Whether you choose to walk, jog or run, alone or with friends – the event is an opportunity to achieve something new in 2024 while helping to make a massive difference in your local community. 1 in 3 women and 1 in 5 children experience abuse during their lifetime. By taking part in the Bath Half this year, you can help us change that.”
Registration Deadline: 6th March 2023
